Qatar National Information Assurance (NIA)

The National Information Assurance (NIA) Certification is a key pillar of the National Information Security Compliance Framework (NISCF), managed by Qatar’s National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA). This program gives organizations a clear path to prove they meet the State of Qatar’s information security standards. When an entity earns this certification, it serves as official recognition that they have passed a formal audit by an authorized, independent evaluator and are fully compliant with the required security criteria.

In alignment with these standards, Google Cloud has officially earned the National Information Assurance (NIA) v2.1 certification. Following a rigorous evaluation by an accredited third-party organization, Google Cloud has been verified to meet Qatar’s highest security and compliance requirements. This certification applies to the Qatar, Belgium, and Netherlands regions and covers data classifications from C1 through C3, ensuring a trusted environment for critical digital workloads.
